Dear Friends,

It’s been far too long! This summer we have three exciting new albums coming out on Mantralogy:Leaps&Bounds by the Hanumen,Like a River to the Sea by the beautiful, talented Jahnavi Harrison, and Krishna Kirtan:Music as Meditation by world renowned yoga rockstar Raghunath das, featuring the beautiful vocals of Janaki Kagel.

Today we present Leaps&Bounds, the new album by The Hanumen, a multi instrumental weaving of traditional kirtan and a revolutionary mix of eclectic mantra music. Varying traditions of spirituality and musicality come together in perfect harmony, including vocals and drumming from the Mayapuris own Vishvambhar! And of course the usual suspects, gaura Vani, John de Kadt, Puru and Benjy Wertheimer, plus many incredible guest musicians.

July 24th, Jahnavi Harrison’s debut album Like a River to the Sea, featuring Gaura Vani, will be available in full. Though for now, you can pre-order the album on iTunes and get two songs instantly.

Lastly, the long awaited debut kirtan album brought to us by Raghunath. We will have it in our hands just on time for BhaktiFest West.

Love to all of you,

Meditation Challenge and News!

Hello Lovely Bhaktas!

I am deep in the snow of Upstate, NY. No school, no driving, lots of shoveling. Kitchri simmering on the stove. Many cups of chocolate chai by the fireplace. It’s a quiet time of the year and an inward time. I have been joining in on Sharon Salzberg’s Meditation Challenge, which has been a wonderfully fulfilling practice for me. I was also invited to sing in the chorus of Ambika Cooper’s new kirtan CD, which will come out on Mantralogy’s sister label, Vanaras Kirtan. How cool! #everytownandvillage.

Prema Hara begins a huge tour of the states in March, and The Hanumen have opened up registration for all of their summer time events.

Please visit Mantralogy’s Facebook page (and please LIKE us) to know about all of our Bhakti events. Facebook is updated almost daily, and so it’s the best place to see what’s happening Mantralogy wise.

This month we also ask all of our followers to participate in the Shyam das Foundation’s push to fill the archives with any photos, stories, or correspondence that you would like to share. www.shyamdasfoundation.com His birthday is February 11, and so we hope to collect as many things as we can to remember our dearest Shyam.

Love to everyone during this last leg of winter.

Om Shanti,
Keli

Upcoming we have a Hanumen record in the works, Jahnavi Harrison is closing in on the final elements of her record and the debut recording of Bhakti Yoga teacher and kirtan singer Raghunath das is also in the finishing stages of recording. At Mantralogy we anxiously anticipate the time when we can share all of these with you!

Gaura Vani has just landed in DC, home from a magical two week retreat in India, lead by Gaura and DC area yoga teacher Gopi Kinnicut. Check out Gaura Vani’s facebook to see photos of this most incredible retreat. The Juggernauts will also be playing at the Texas Yoga Conference. Again- see Mantralogy Facebook for details!

The Hanumen are Hard at Work!

Dear Friends,

As we speak the Hanumen are together on the west coast, laying down tracks for their second album. Joined by Vishvambhar of the Mayapuris, the Hanumen embody all that we were hoping for at Mantralogy. They embody the cosmic force of love and how it shines forth from all of the world’s traditions. Know that as we enter the darkest time of the year, they are keeping the heart fires burning and the light of heart awakening alive and glowing.

We also anxiously welcome the advent of the long awaited debut album of Jahnavi Harrison. She is in the very final stages of her recording. We are so excited to share it with all of you. Look for Jahnavi’s album this spring!

Please look to Mantralogy’s Facebook page for updates, tour dates, fun videos and photos. Follow us on Pinterest! And also check out Keli Lalita on spotify for great mixes of amazing Mantra Music. The revolution is happening, one mantra and one village at a time. Be a part!

Love to all this advent season. Let the light of your heart carry you through this last part of the year. We wish you love and light and ease in your life.

Om Shantih,
Keli

Enjoy 20 Percent off of Everything Mantralogy!

Dear Friends,

It’s been too long! The Bhakti trail is a busy one. Last weekend, we had Krishna das in Albany with a crowd of 600 eager chanters. Then hundreds joined together again in Vermont for a weekend workshop with Krishna das, after which he joined with our partners in Bhakti, The Call and Response Foundation to offer a kirtan in a women’s prison. If you haven’t heard of The Call and Response Foundation, please give them a gander. They are doing amazing work in the prison system and with at risk youth.

While all that beauty was happening in Vermont, not far to the east, our very own Devadas was giving love out by the bushel in New England. He breaks hearts open where ever he goes, with his voice and radiant being. <3 This weekend we had Gaura Vani and Vishvambar Yoga Mandali in Saratoga, sharing their new project "The Juggunaths": a combination of beautiful devotional music and songs from the Vedas. They played and taught alongside Bhakti YOga teacher Gopi Kinnicutt. Meanwhile...Mantralogy's Prema Hara was chanting in Newburgh! They don't seem to sleep! They just chant. They are heading to Europe for some R&R I hope. :) And last but never least, Adam Bauer was offering his sonorous voice, and deep devotion and so much BHAV to all of our beloved Bhaktas on the west coast. COME JOIN THE MANTRA REVOLUTION! We can turn the tide together in so many simple little ways. We invite you to make mantra based SPOTIFY playlists and include our artists on them whenever you can. It helps them in more ways than you know and it's a great, easy way to share your favorite kirtans with friends, family and yoga students. Please also share and videos of our artists on YOUTUBE!! Thank you! If we join together in this effort, we remember that many hands make light work! We are expressing our gratitude for all that you do in advance by offering a 20 percent discount on all Mantralogy shirts and music Friday- Sunday! Gift the gift of BHAKTI! love to all, Keli

Happy Janmastami week, and don’t miss the boat!

Happy Janmastami week, and don’t miss the boat! →

Dear Friends,

Happy Janmastami, a little early!

This summer has been filled with so many amazing Kirtans it is hard to count. So far were the highlights for me were: early summer kirtans in the north East with Nina Rao, Devadas at Sadhana in Hudson, the Hanumen in Saratoga, and The Kirtaniyas, also in Hudson. Now we enter heavy kirtan season with Ecstatic Chant, Bhakti Fest and more. I can’t wait.

Please purchase your tickets for the Bhajan Boat. There are about a quarter of the tickets left. It will sell out, so if you want to be part of this amazing day…don’t delay.

Tickets can be purchased on line at http://mantralogy.merchnow.com/ Click the button that says store.

New designs are finally in production and will debut at Bhakti Fest West! I am so excited and I think you will be too. Please come by the Mantralogy Lounge, situated with a great view of the main stage. Watch the music, get out of the sun, check out the Mandala Publishing Books, including Radhanath Swami’s new book. And get some music to keep Bhakti flowing in your life. Hope to see you all soon.

Also! Shyamdas-ji’s INNER GODDESS will be for ready for all of you at Bhakti Fest. An audio book of one of Shyam’s most wonderful translations, recorded in his home in West Camp, during the summer of 2012. It is so very healing to hear the sound of his voice reading Inner Goddess. It’s magical.

Jai Sri Krishna!

Ocean of Grace is LOVE! and ready to order!

Dear Lovely Bhaktas!,

Prema Hara’s third release, entitled Ocean of Grace is live today, on this most auspicious day of the Appearance of Lord Narasimha! This half man- half lion incarnation of Krishna incarnates to protect the chanters of the Holy Names and to honor those who honor the dharma.

http://merchnow.com/catalogs/prema-hara  click this link to order now!!

It is said that the safest place to be in the Kali Yuga is in the midst of a kirtan. We can’t always be in Kirtan. Sometimes we are cleaning our homes, driving in cars to get kids from Little League, and mowing the lawn. So what to do? Bring the spiritual vibration with you!  Ocean of Grace is a heart felt offering but it lacks nothing in terms of how an album should be crafted. It is simply beautiful. I urge you all to support Prema Hara, own their album, visit them on tour, here in the States and all over Europe, follow them on instagram, if you can’t be on tour with them, it’s a lot of fun to see their every day play.

For myself, I can say that I put on Ocean of Grace after Adam Bauer’s Album Release celebration in NYC and drove all the way up the Taconic State Parkway chanting at the top of my lungs for two hours in the middle of the night. It carried me home in more ways than one.

love all ways,
Keli Lalita devi dasi
