Mantralogy is happy to announce the release of our first live compilation album Chant4Change Live. The album releases on 9/14/10 in retail stores and online. CD release party at The Bhakti Fest on Saturday 9/11/10 in Joshua Tree, CA.

Hosted by the renowned yoga teacher and leader, Shiva Rea, Chant4Change is a music event that was held within view of the White House the night before Obama’s Inauguration. Featuring soul-warming chants of Grammy-nominated artist Jai Uttal, Dave Stringer and Gaura Vani, among others, Chant4Change Live is a piece of history in the story of the growing kirtan and chant lifestyle. The event ushered in a new era of spiritual intension and consciousness.

Jai Uttal has been leading the chant scene for over 25 years. With over 12 albums, he is a master and teacher of the art of chanting. The LA Times has declared chanting with Dave Stringer to be “a departure from ancient kirtan. His performance shaped the experience into a far more compelling musical encounter.” From the age of six, Gaura Vani as been leading kirtans around the world getting crowds off their feet with his powerhouse voice and up-tempo rhythms. Saul David Raye is a leading yoga teacher in Los Angeles and is known for his empowering and holistic approach to health through yoga and music. Daphne Tse merges spiritual vibrations with contemporary folk singer-songwriter style with her warm rendition of Saraswati Mata.
